What are lead times?

A lead time is a time between the initiation and completion of a production process. When we state lead times specifically for our products, we mean the approximate amount of working / business days it takes to manufacture a product. Any submissions after 2pm equal the next working day.

When will my order be despatched?

Our standard lead times for manufacture of both generic sized cartons or custom boxes are 12 - 15 working days.

However, fluctuations in demand and capacity can result in our lead times varying month to month.

Please ensure that any time critical orders, particularly during November and December, are placed early to ensure you beat the Christmas rush.


How much time should I allow for quoting?

In most cases CCP can prepare a quote for you within 24 to 48 hours. If your product design is more complex, our in-house Designers are available to develop unique solutions for your packaging requirements, and CCP can submit design proposals to you within 3-4 days. If any changes are required the product development cycle restarts. 


How much time should I allow for processing a new product?

Please allow 2-3 days for new and first time ordered products to be fully processed in our system.


How much time should I allow for processing a new order?

All orders are processed within 24 to 48 hours. If your order requires additional freight charges, Customer Service will contact you within 24 to 48 hours.

If you are submitting EFT payment of an online order or Proforma Invoice, your order will be processed once funds are confirmed recieved by our Accounts teams. To help assist with this process you can send us a Payment Receipt.


How much time should I allow for Artwork?

For all printing processes, CCP will provide a dieline of your box so artwork can be prepared.

For online orders, you will recieve the custom dieline within 24 to 48 hours of placing your online order.

For products being developed with your Account Managers, they will be sharing the dielines with you throughout the quoting process. You should be preparing your artwork in the background to ensure it is completed when you are ready to proceed. 

Artwork Proofs for all printing processes generally will take 24 to 48 hours per proof. Any alterations to the artwork proof will require an additional 1 - 2 days per alteration. 


How much time should I allow for Tooling?

For digitally printed products, the product is set up and order processed once signed Approval is recieved.

For flexographic printed products, the Stereo is ordered once signed Approval is recieved, and please allow 3 working days for the Stereo to be manufactured.

For die-cut designs, the knife is ordered once signed Approval of the sample is recieved, and please allow 5 to 6 working days for the Knife to be manufactured.


How much time should I allow for Stock items?

Whilst CCP has a wide range of products available on our website, we manufacture made to order for most items. If you would like to order from our Stock Range only, please contact Customer Service for a Product Price List (pending your state Location). Stock orders are generally picked and packed within 48 to 72 hours.
